HP unveils its small, powerful HP Veer smartphone running the operating system webOS. HP Veer is the smallest webOS phone - the size of a credit card and no thicker than a deck. Nevertheless, it offers all the quality features and amenities of a big smartphone: Enter text, access apps and social networks and Internet. Support for the new Adobe Flash Player enables it to access a variety of Flash-based web content.
The HP Veer has a full, slide-out QWERTY keyboard and a high-quality touchscreen. The small shape the smartphone fits in your pocket, while providing access to the world of webOS apps. At a size of only 54.5 mm x 84.0 mm x 15.1 mm and weighing 103 grams, HP Veer over a 800-MHz processor, a 6.5 cm (2.57 ") glass display and a 8 GB of internal memory. In addition, the unit provides a powerful browser with comprehensive Internet access, including the support for the beta version of Adobe Flash Player 10.1. Its wireless function, the integrated GPS, the comprehensive messaging support, appropriate multimedia options, including music, video functions, video recording and playback and an integrated 5-megapixel camera complete the extensive equipment package.
